FSB officers initiated a criminal case on the charge of treason against a resident of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine, reported the FSB Public Relations Center. He is accused of transferring funds to "accounts used by the special services and the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
According to the investigation, he financed the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 2023 to 2025. In the published video, the arrest is carried out by a capture group leading the man in handcuffs and with a bag over his head. The court sent him to a pre-trial detention center.
The name and age of the person involved in the case are unknown.
In the past month, the FSB has reported almost daily on the detention of civilians in the occupied territories. No evidence is provided, everything is based on the assertion of the special service.
After the annexation of four regions of Ukraine, at least 190 people received sentences on charges of "treason," "espionage," and "confidential cooperation," according to "Important Stories"*.
