The 35th garrison military court in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky arrested a Kamchatka serviceman for two months, who carried out a massacre of fellow soldiers "in the zone of the special military operation," stated on the court's website. As specified by "Kommersant," the serviceman is a 37-year-old sailor from one of the Kamchatka military units.
According to the investigation, the serviceman, being at a temporary deployment point of one of the military units, "on fabricated grounds" threw a combat grenade at three fellow soldiers, after which he shot them. Two soldiers died on the spot, one was injured.
It is noted that after the incident, the serviceman fled with a weapon but was promptly detained by military police officers. He offered armed resistance, was wounded, and detained.
Two criminal cases have been initiated on particularly serious charges.
