In Moscow, activist Alexander Klevitov, who on May 9 went to an anti-war protest at Pushkin Square with a poster "No to war!", was beaten at the Tverskoy district police department, reported the project "OVD-Info"*.

As soon as he unfolded the poster, police officers approached him and took him to the Tverskoy police department, where he was held overnight.

Meanwhile, lawyer Natalia Tikhonova was not allowed to see him. The police also refused to accept a package for the man, citing the lack of "opportunity." Klevitov was released only the next day with a protocol on "discrediting" the army.

"OVD-Info" notes that the man was beaten at the police department. After his release, he went to a trauma center to document the injuries. Also, during the activist's detention, an ambulance came to the police department twice — Klevitov has a Group II disability.
