Rescuers extinguished fires all night, coming under repeated attacks

UPD: The number of injured has increased to 47 people, reported the head of the regional military administration Vadim Filashkin. Among the injured are 7 children. Seven victims were hospitalized in Dobropillya, three in serious condition were evacuated to Dnipro.

 

Late in the evening of March 7, Russian troops shelled the settlement of Dobropillya in the Donetsk region. According to the National Police, the city was hit with a combined strike, first with an Iskander-M missile and Tornado-S MLRS, and then drones were launched.

At least 11 people were killed, and another 30 were injured, including five children, local authorities reported. In addition, as a result of the attack, 8 five-story buildings, an administrative building, and 30 vehicles were damaged. Fires broke out in residential buildings and the administrative building, during the extinguishing of which a repeated strike was carried out by Russian drones. “The fire was localized in 20 apartments, three fires with a total area of 190 sq. m were extinguished,” rescuers reported by morning.

The shelling of the Donetsk region is ongoing around the clock, the day before, as a result of another Russian attack, five people were killed, and nine people were injured.

Last night, Russian drones also attacked the Kharkiv region. As reported by the head of the regional Kharkiv military administration Oleg Synegubov, three people were killed, and another seven were injured.
