A new protocol was drawn up against the Yekaterinburg musician Yevgeny Mikhailov, who was detained yesterday, this time for «discrediting» the army due to Monetochka's song «You are a soldier», his lawyer told «OVD-Info»*. Mikhailov posted a recording of this song's performance on his channel.
The first protocol against Mikhailov was for petty hooliganism, due to profanity in the song by Noize MC* «Cooperative „Swan Lake“». The musician spent the previous night in the police department.
Mikhailov performed songs by Monetochka, Noize MC, and the band «Pornofilms»* for several days in support of the street singer Naoko, who was arrested in St. Petersburg, and members of her band «Stoptime».
On Tuesday evening, police detained a young man named Denis in Moscow, who went on a solo picket on the Old Arbat with a poster that read «I want to watch ballet, let the swans dance» and «#musicisnotacrime». The security forces detained him and took him to the Arbat police department, leaving him there overnight.
Last week, the vocalist of «Stoptime» Diana Loginova, drummer Vladislav Leontyev, and guitarist Alexander Orlov were placed under administrative arrest for performing songs by «foreign agents», Loginova and Leontyev for 13 days, Orlov for 12 days. They were accused of organizing an unauthorized event, which «obstructed pedestrian movement» to the metro. Loginova was also issued two protocols for «discrediting» the Russian army.
