Ukrainian drones attacked one of the enterprises in Dagestan on the night of October 22, reported the head of the republic, Sergey Melikov. According to him, there is currently no information about casualties or injuries, and information about the damage is "being clarified." Melikov did not specify which enterprise was involved.
ASTRA* analyzed footage of the attack and concluded that the video shows a drone hitting the territory of the oil refinery LLC "Dagnotech" ("Dagestan New Technologies"). The footage was taken from a distance of about 3 kilometers from the refinery. The refinery processes 1 million tons of oil per year.
The mayor of Makhachkala, Dzhambulat Salavov, reported on his Telegram channel that several commercial properties and two vehicles were damaged in the city as a result of the drone attack. However, the post was later deleted.
Drones also attacked Mordovia, reported the head of the republic, Artem Zdunov. One of the enterprises sustained damage. "Emergency services are working on site, all necessary forces and resources are engaged," he said, without providing further details.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 33 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight over the territory of Russia and annexed Crimea. The military department did not report on the drone attacks on Dagestan and Mordovia.
