A military man was sentenced to nine years in prison for an accident with two fatalities in Belgorod

The Kursk Garrison Military Court sentenced serviceman Ramazan Gadzhimuradov to nine years in a general regime colony in the case of a fatal accident with an ambulance in Belgorod, in which two paramedics died, the press service of the Kursk courts reported.

Gadzhimuradov was found guilty of violating traffic rules while intoxicated and without a license, which inadvertently caused the death of two people. The court also banned the man from driving for three years and ordered him to pay one million rubles to each of the eight victims as compensation for moral damage.

According to the investigation, on February 7, Gadzhimuradov, driving a BMW X7, ran a red light at an intersection at a speed of over 140 kilometers per hour and collided with an ambulance. As a result, two women working as paramedics were killed — 38-year-old Olga Lyubimova and 45-year-old Marina Parovyshnik.

"Pepel" wrote that two other people were in the car with him — Isa Abdurashidov and Murad Musaev. Initially, it was not known who was driving the car. The BMW X7 itself is registered to Gadzhimuradov.

 

Meanwhile, Ufa journalist Olga Komleva was sentenced to 12 years in prison for collaborating with FBK and posts about the war in Ukraine.
