12 regions announced increased payments last year for sending to war in Ukraine, «promotions» are valid from 1.5 to 3 months, found out «Important Stories».
The largest regional part of the one-time payment for volunteers was set in the Tyumen region — 3 million rubles. Three days later, the military commissioner of the Tyumen region, Sergey Chirkov, reported that the number of applications had doubled. In the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, they offer the second largest amount of 2.65 million rubles. In the Tula, Moscow, and Tambov regions, those who signed a contract by the end of the year will receive 2.6 million rubles.
At the same time, as journalists note, when the «promotion» period expires, the authorities sometimes do not mention the changed conditions. For example, recruiters from the Vladimir region still indicate the regional payment amount of 2.1 million rubles, which was valid until September 30.
In the spring of 2025, recruitment rates fell to a minimum since the beginning of the war, calculated «Important Stories». In the second quarter of 2025, federal payments for signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense were received by 37.9 thousand people — 2.5 times less than in the same period of 2024.
