This was revealed in court during the confiscation of his property, the former judge requested a settlement agreement, no criminal cases have been initiated against him

In the Ostankinsky Court of Moscow, where the process of confiscating property from the former head of the Council of Judges of the Russian Federation, Viktor Momotov, is underway, the Prosecutor General's Office presented a new accusation — covering up prostitution, TASS reported.

«Momotov decided to use his status and immunity to cover up his assets. There was something to cover... it was not only hotels but also illegal activities, namely the provision of intimate services, hourly rooms, and saunas», — said the prosecutor's representative.

The former judge was also caught in business fragmentation and tax evasion — with a total damage of more than 500 million rubles. Momotov also provided protection to the head of the Krasnodar Regional Court, whose property worth 13 billion rubles was confiscated, the prosecutor stated.

Momotov requested a settlement agreement in the case of confiscation of his property.

The Prosecutor General's Office demands to transfer about 100 real estate objects to state income, including eight hotels of the Marton network, whose owner was Momotov's business partner Andrey Marchenko — his department calls him «the Krasnodar representative of the criminal underworld». The former chairman of the Council of Judges also united with the organized crime group «Pokrovskie» for joint business.

The prosecution insists that Momotov used his status as a judge and facilitated the issuance of illegal judicial acts so that people affiliated with him received land plots.

Currently, Momotov is not involved in criminal cases (to initiate a case against a former judge, the sanction of the head of the Investigative Committee is needed), while co-defendants in the lawsuit against him are already in pre-trial detention.
