As a result of the attack by Ukrainian drones, the Ilsky oil refinery in the Seversky district of the Krasnodar region caught fire, reported the regional operational headquarters.
According to official information, the fire at one of the technological installations was quickly extinguished, and no one was injured.
The Ukrainian General Staff also reported an attack on part of the main oil pipeline 'Steel Horse' in the Bryansk region. The agency recorded numerous hits and fires in the area of the pumping station and tank farm.
The '8-N' LPS is part of the main oil pipeline complex owned by JSC 'Transneft - Druzhba'. The pumping capacity is 10.5 million tons. This facility is of strategic importance for ensuring the transportation of petroleum products from Belarusian refineries to the Russian Federation, particularly from the Mozyr and Novopolotsk refineries, reported the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
After previous attacks on the pipeline, the foreign ministers of Slovakia and Hungary sent complaints to the European Commission.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense forces shot down 69 Ukrainian drones overnight. Almost a third of them were over the territory of the Krasnodar region.
