Russian authorities confirmed the attacks without specifying what exactly was damaged, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported strikes on strategic targets

A fire started at the Rosneft oil refinery in the south of Ryazan at night as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones, reported Astra* and the Ukrainian OSINT project Exilenova+ citing eyewitness footage.

Governor Pavel Malkin confirmed the drone attack but only reported "debris landing on the territory of an industrial enterprise" and "elimination of consequences." According to him, there were no casualties.

The Ryazan refinery was already attacked by drones a month ago, as claimed by Reuters, resulting in the plant halting the operation of two primary oil processing units, halving productivity.

Ukrainian drones also attacked an oil depot in occupied Luhansk, reports "RBC-Ukraine" citing social media. The WarDonbass Telegram channel published a video of the aftermath of the strike, confirming "an arrival in the area of the oil depot." An "Interfax" source in emergency services reported a UAV hitting a "warehouse with fuel and lubricants."
Commander of the UAV Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Robert Brovdi confirmed strikes on the oil refinery in Ryazan and the oil depot in temporarily occupied Luhansk.

The Lipetsk governor Igor Artamonov also reported the attack on September 5. According to him, in the city of Lebedyan "debris damaged part of a residential building," and in Yelets, they "fell on a household plot" and broke the windows of a private house.

In Yelets, there is the "Energia" plant, a manufacturer of batteries and accumulators, including for drones and aerial bombs (sanctioned by the EU and the USA).
