Three people died and 23 more were injured as a result of the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia, reported the head of Zaporizhzhia OVA, Ivan Fedorov.
«Under the supervision of doctors are 18 injured with explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds. Among them is a 17-year-old boy. Some of the injured are currently in operating rooms. Doctors are doing everything possible to preserve their lives and health, — wrote Fedorov.
The Russian army also attacked Sumy with ballistic missiles and drones, destroying the building of Sumy State University.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, who is currently in Washington, called these attacks «an absolutely demonstrative and cynical Russian strike» on the eve of his meeting with Trump. «Everyone wants a dignified peace and real security. And at this very moment, the Russians are hitting Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy region, Odesa, residential buildings, our civilian infrastructure.
This is the deliberate killing of people by Russians, the killing of children. As a result of the drone strike on Kharkiv, it is currently known that seven people died, the youngest girl being one and a half years old, and dozens were injured, including children», — wrote the President of Ukraine.
Zelensky once again noted that the war needs to end. «And it is Moscow that must hear „stop“». — he reported.
