Four people died

On August 5, near one of the private houses in the village of Kurkino, local resident Alexey Kurvyakov detonated a grenade, killing four people, reported the Investigative Committee of the Tula region. The Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case "on the fact of the death of four people".

The 32-year-old soldier Alexey Kurvyakov recently returned from Ukraine, he had previously been repeatedly convicted of extortion, intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, and other crimes, according to data leaks studied by ASTRA*.

In one of the local publications, a man with the same surname from the village of Kurkino is mentioned in a case about "serial extortionists". It is reported that Kurvyakov had also previously served a sentence for robbery.

After the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kurvyakov again became involved in a criminal case and decided to go to the front, recently he returned home from the war and brought a grenade with him.

On the eve of his birthday, Kurvyakov was drinking with acquaintances, at some point the men quarreled, Kurvyakov took out a grenade, and it exploded. Three died on the spot, one died on the way to the hospital.
