As a result of the shelling of Kherson on the morning of August 2, two civilians were killed, and two more were injured, reported the head of the city administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
In the Dnipro district of the city, a residential building was targeted, and the body of a man was retrieved from the rubble, a 68-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries in the Korabelny district of Kherson.
Russian drones also massively attacked Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported that as a result of the drone attack, two houses, a market, and an administrative building were damaged, and several cars were destroyed. At least five people were injured.
Three more people were injured as a result of a Russian strike on one of the villages in the Zaporizhzhia district. A 66-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were hospitalized, the man's condition is serious, and the woman's condition is assessed by doctors as moderate.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, at least three people were injured, and civilian infrastructure facilities were destroyed and damaged.
The Kharkiv region was attacked more than ten times over the past day. One person died, 13 people were injured, including three children: 9-year-old and 10-year-old boys and a five-month-old baby, reported the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
