They called the operation a message to the security forces, who are unable to protect their key infrastructure, and promised to publish the data of Russians

The hacker group Silent Crow announced on their Telegram channel the complete destruction of "Aeroflot's" internal IT infrastructure as a result of a "prolonged and large-scale operation."

Together with the Belarusian group "Cyberpartisans," the hackers were inside the corporate network of the Russian company for a year, "methodically expanding access, delving into the very core of the infrastructure," they managed to destroy about 7,000 physical and virtual servers.

According to them, they obtained databases of flight history, compromised all critical corporate systems, gained control over employees' personal computers, including management, and also copied data from wiretapping servers and systems for monitoring and controlling personnel. "All these resources are now unavailable or destroyed, recovery will possibly require tens of millions of dollars. The damage is strategic," noted Silent Crow.

They called their operation a "message" for Russian security forces and organizations that "are unable to protect even their key infrastructures." "For all employees of the repressive apparatus—your digital security is negligible, and you have long been under surveillance," the hackers noted in their statement, promising to start publishing the obtained data soon.

Meanwhile, in the morning, "Aeroflot" reported a failure in its information program and warned of possible service disruptions. At the moment, 42 flights have been canceled.

Previously, Silent Crow hacked "Rostelecom" and Rosreestr and posted Russians' data online.
