UPD: The number of injured increased to 22 people, reported Nikolai Kalashnik
On the night of July 10, Kyiv was subjected to a massive combined attack by Russian drones and ballistics, the attack lasted almost ten hours, reported the head of the regional military administration Nikolai Kalashnik.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, two women died in the Podil district: a 68-year-old resident of the capital and a 22-year-old police corporal of the metro. 16 people were injured, 10 of them were hospitalized.
Fires were extinguished all night in several dozen locations, debris from downed drones fell on several residential high-rise buildings. As reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, in the Podil district, the outpatient clinic of the Primary Health Care Center was almost completely destroyed as a result of the attack.
After 5 a.m., the head of the city military administration Timur Tkachenko noted an excessive amount of smoke in Kyiv and urged residents to close their windows.
In addition to the capital, the Kyiv region was also affected. According to the regional military administration, four districts were attacked, and a 51-year-old man was injured.
