In the Perm region, a criminal case was initiated against 49-year-old Anatoly Tyulenev, a former participant in the war with Ukraine who fought as part of the Wagner PMC, under the article on lewd acts against a person under the age of 16, reported Astra*.
The former mercenary of the Wagner PMC attempted to rape his neighbor's granddaughter in the Bolsheosnovsky district of the Perm region. The ninth-grader came to her grandfather for summer vacation from Udmurtia. On July 6, Tyulenev, who lived nearby, invited her to his place and gave her alcohol, then took her home. In the middle of the night, the girl woke up to find Tyulenev standing over her bed at home and touching her. She ran out of the house and called the police. The victim's grandfather was asleep at the time.
The next day, according to the publication, an administrative protocol was drawn up against Tyulenev for "involving a minor in the consumption of alcoholic products." Later, a criminal case was initiated on lewd acts against a person under the age of 16. At the same time, the man was placed under a travel ban.
According to Astra, in 2016 Tyulenev was sentenced to 16 years in prison, including for causing grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim. He served his sentence in a colony in Solikamsk, and in May 2023, he went to war with Ukraine as part of the Wagner PMC. Astra writes that in Ukraine he was injured and discharged, and then pardoned by Vladimir Putin.
