UPD: A five-year-old boy died in the hospital from his injuries, Hinshtein reported.
Late in the evening of July 8, Ukrainian drones massively attacked the Kursk region. As a result of a strike by one of the drones on the city beach in Kursk, three people died, and seven more, including a five-year-old boy, were injured, reported the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Hinshtein.
According to him, all the injured have shrapnel wounds and burns of varying degrees. Five people, including the child, were hospitalized in serious condition. Hinshtein also clarified that one of the deceased was an employee of the Russian National Guard.
“A vile, inhumane strike by Ukrainian criminals! Late in the evening, on a holiday, the enemy deliberately struck a place where civilians were present! This defies any rational explanation!” — wrote Hinshtein on the Telegram channel.
The city of Rylsk was also hit by Ukrainian drones. As Hinshtein reported, the drones attacked the infectious disease ward of the Central District Hospital, the ambulance building, and the enterprise “Agrofirma Rylskaya.” Two women received shrapnel wounds.
