Donald Trump stated that Elon Musk is 'completely off the rails'

This was his reaction to the billionaire's announcement about creating a political party

Elon Musk's plans to create a new political party 'America' have led to another escalation in the already complex relationship with Donald Trump.

The US President criticized Musk following the announcement of his political ambitions. 'It saddens me to see how Elon Musk has completely gone off the rails, turning into a walking disaster over the past five weeks. He even wants to create a third political party, despite the fact that such parties have never succeeded in the US — the system seems not designed for this,' Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social.

According to Trump, such political forces only create 'total disorder and chaos.'

Musk, the richest person in the world, spent hundreds of millions of dollars supporting Trump's presidential campaign, and in return, he was rewarded with an influential position that involved control over radical reductions in the number of government employees and contracts.

Their tandem began to fall apart when Trump pushed his extensive domestic policy bill through Congress. Musk criticized this bill, which is expected to increase the federal debt by trillions of dollars, calling it a 'disgusting abomination.' He stated that he would support major opponents of any Republican who voted for this bill. 'Supporting a presidential candidate is not excluded, but in the next 12 months, the main focus will be on the House of Representatives and the Senate,' Musk wrote on Sunday on the social network X.

Earlier, Trump threatened to cut billions of dollars in federal contracts and tax subsidies for Musk's companies, not even ruling out the deportation of the businessman from the US.
