Ukrainian drones attacked Cheboksary, Engels, and Saratov

The head of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, reported that drones struck Engels and Saratov, damaging, according to him, residential buildings, with no casualties. Meanwhile, Astra* reported, citing Engels residents, that drones attacked the military airfield.

In Cheboksary, a strike was carried out on «VNIIR-Progress», which produces «Kometa» antennas that protect Russian drones from electronic warfare. On June 9, «VNIIR-Progress» was already attacked by drones, after which the enterprise halted operations.

A drone strike was also carried out on the Borisoglebsk military airfield in the Voronezh region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that «a warehouse with guided aerial bombs, a training-combat aircraft, and possibly other aircraft» were hit.

Su-34, Su-35S, and Su-30SM aircraft are based at the Borisoglebsk airfield. The NASA fire monitoring system recorded a fire in the area of the airfield.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported 94 Ukrainian UAVs shot down. 34 drones over the territory of the Voronezh region, 11 over the Bryansk region, 9 UAVs each over the territories of the Belgorod and Saratov regions, 8 UAVs over the Novgorod region, 6 UAVs over Kursk, 3 UAVs each over the territories of the Leningrad and Oryol regions, 2 UAVs each over the territories of the Rostov, Smolensk, Ryazan regions, and Chuvashia, and one UAV each over the territories of the Moscow region, Penza, and Tula regions.
