UPD: As reported by the head of the Kyiv city military administration, Timur Tkachenko, during the aftermath of the strike in the Sviatoshyn district of Kyiv, rescuers discovered the body of the deceased.
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a total of 539 drones and 11 missiles were launched across the country.
On the night of July 4, Kyiv was under a massive combined attack by Russia. As a result of the shelling, fires were recorded in several locations, 23 people were injured, 14 of them were hospitalized. The city military administration urged residents to close their windows, as the high number of fires led to a high concentration of combustion products in the air.
In the Solomianskyi district, the attack caused partial destruction of a five-story building. A fire broke out on the roof of another multi-apartment building. Fires also occurred in a warehouse building, on the territory of a service station, and a garage cooperative. Much civilian infrastructure was damaged.
In the Sviatoshyn district, a fire broke out as a result of a hit on a 14-story residential building. Several cars also caught fire. As a result of the missile attack, significant destruction and damage were inflicted on the residential and industrial sectors of the Fastiv district in the Kyiv region.
As reported by the Air Forces, Russia launched 539 drones and 11 missiles at Ukraine: one aeroballistic missile "Kinzhal", six ballistic missiles "Iskander-M", and four cruise missiles "Iskander-K".
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha called this night in the capital "one of the worst ever". "Hundreds of Russian drones and ballistic missiles rained down on the Ukrainian capital. Right after Putin spoke with President Trump. And he does it deliberately. Enough waiting! Putin clearly demonstrates his complete disregard for the United States and everyone who called for an end to the war," Sybiha wrote on his social media page X.
