Ukrainian drones attacked the Lipetsk region. In Yelets, the 'Energia' plant, which produces batteries, including for UAVs, as well as batteries for aviation and the navy, was attacked for the second time in three months.
As ASTRA* writes, one of the UAVs hit the asphalt near the plant, and a fire broke out on the premises of the enterprise itself.
The governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, reported a fire in the parking lot of 'one of the enterprises' in Yelets. According to him, debris fell on a private residential house in the Lipetsk district, resulting in one person dying, two more being injured, and a drone hitting a section of an apartment building under construction in Yelets.
The 'Energia' plant had already been attacked on the night of May 23, when one of the workshops caught fire, injuring nine employees of the enterprise.
The plant specializes in the production of chemical power sources. 'Energia's products are widely used in various sectors, including the defense industry, civil aviation, marine transport, and the energy complex.
The attack by drones was also reported by the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev. According to him, in Voronezh, parts of a downed drone damaged the roof of a private house, and due to a power line break, one village was left without electricity.
The Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 69 Ukrainian drones, of which 27 were shot down over the Belgorod region, 22 over Voronezh, 10 over Lipetsk, 8 over Kursk, and 2 over annexed Crimea.
