In the Volgograd region, a criminal case was initiated against four minors for "participation in the activities of an extremist organization", reported the regional department of the Investigative Committee.

According to the investigation, a 17-year-old teenager, who adheres to "radical views and ideology based on interethnic and political hatred", created the "extremist community". He created an open channel in a messenger for "propagating his beliefs" and published calls for violence against representatives of "certain religious and national groups" there. The police call him a "follower of Nazi ideology".

The investigation claims that the young man involved five like-minded individuals in his group — three peers who are students and two 15-year-old schoolchildren.

According to the FSB, the teenagers burned five cars in Volgograd, which, in their opinion, belonged to foreigners and residents of the national republics of Russia, they are also accused of setting fire to a copy of the Victory Banner and painting nationalist symbols and slogans on the commemorative wall of the Volgograd Shipbuilding Plant. The teenagers filmed all these actions on video and published them on a Telegram channel.

In a garage rented by one of them, gunpowder, Nazi paraphernalia, and extremist literature were seized, the police noted.

The teenagers are charged with articles on "organizing the activities of an extremist organization" and participating in it, "calls for extremism", "rehabilitation of Nazism", deliberate destruction of someone else's property, and illegal circulation of explosives.

The 17-year-old "organizer" was taken into custody, while the others were placed under house arrest.
