UPD: An 83-year-old woman died in the hospital, local authorities reported
Acting governor of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein reported a strike on an apartment building in Rylsk. According to the regional head, a 32-year-old local resident was killed, leaving behind three minor children.
Six more people — a man and five women — were injured. One of them — an 83-year-old woman — is in serious condition.
As Khinshtein clarified, several residential buildings were damaged in the alley on Rosa Luxemburg and Frunze streets due to the strike, and windows were blown out at the local bakery, which is currently not operating.
On May 31, drones hit two five-story residential buildings in Rylsk, in one of them an apartment on the first floor caught fire, after which the fire spread to neighboring balconies, in the other building the drone hit the third floor, and a fire also started there. According to Alexander Khinshtein, seven people were injured, including children aged 13 and 16.
In December last year, a missile attack resulted in the deaths of five people, and 12 were injured.
