The Ukrainian army shelled the city of Lgov in the Kursk region, reported the acting head of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.

According to the official, 12 people were injured. Among them are two teenagers aged 13 and 16. The 13-year-old child has shrapnel wounds to the lower back, and the 16-year-old teenager has a traumatic brain injury, a wound to the back of the head, and the left shoulder. Among the injured are seven women and three men with shrapnel wounds and bruises.

In addition, as a result of the shelling, one apartment building and two private houses were damaged, as well as four cars.

According to "Pepel", the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck with missiles at a concentration of military equipment in the area of the "Rosneft" gas station on the outskirts of Lgov, with three strikes carried out at intervals of 5-7 minutes. The exact number of dead and injured Russian servicemen is not yet known. The site of the strike is cordoned off by military and emergency services.
