Lawyer Alexey Lipzer was transferred to the hospital at colony No. 3 in Vladimir for examination and treatment, his wife Lyudmila Lipzer told the human rights project «OVD-Info»**.
A month ago, Lyudmila Lipzer appealed to the Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova with a request to urgently hospitalize her husband for examination and treatment. He had critically high blood pressure, limbs turned blue, vascular stars appeared all over his body, headaches, and pain in the kidney and liver area, and his vision deteriorated. The specialist, from whom Lyudmila requested a conclusion, concluded that Alexey needed urgent examination, and the lack of treatment could lead to irreversible changes in the tissues. Detention center staff also considered hospitalization necessary.
«Doctors and staff of Detention Center-1 are extremely concerned about his condition and fear for his life and health. They suspect cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, and thyroid disease, insisting on urgent hospitalization in IK-3 of the Vladimir region. According to the information I have, the possibilities for such extensive examination and treatment there are limited», — wrote Lyudmila Lipzer. Moskalkova did not comment on the situation.
Meanwhile, on April 18, Lipzer was transferred to the hospital at IK-3 for examination and treatment.
