UPD: As reported by the head of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, three people died: a young woman died at the scene, a man and a boy died in the hospital. Eight people were injured: four children and four adults, according to the regional administration.
According to the regional military administration, the Russians launched a missile attack on the suburb of Sumy. There were no military targets there, they attacked civilian objects, local authorities clarified. «Preliminarily, the Russian army struck civilian infrastructure with a ballistic missile. The consequences of the Russian attack are being clarified», — noted the regional military administration.
The publication «Kordon.Media» reported that a child died at the site of the ballistic missile strike, and there are also injured. Later, the Sumy city council confirmed the death of the child. «At this moment, it is known about 7 injured: one adult woman and 6 children. Among them, one child died», — reported the city council.
The day before, Russia dropped 15 KABs on the Sumy region, damaging at least six residential buildings. In the Belopolsky district, a 48-year-old man died as a result of shelling, a 34-year-old resident was injured. In the city of Vorozhba, two people died as a result of an airstrike. Yesterday, emergency evacuation of the population began from these two settlements, which are constantly under shelling.
