Hello, friends!
Well, here’s my report: I’m entering my fifth decade as a very happy person. Yep, sitting in a colony, with almost a six-year sentence, without any guilt, almost without contact with my loved ones. I’m in shock myself, as modern youth say. Or do they not say that anymore?..
That’s it. Forty years. Where is the wisdom? It’s time to write about how to arrange Russia, how to properly sit in a colony with a political article, how the world works, and how to make a hot sandwich using a bag and a heater. But seriously (it’s time to get more serious!), I still believe that prison, war, and grief cannot make anyone better, freer, and happier. But that doesn’t mean that in prison, in grief, in war, a person, with human and divine help, cannot be happy and free. Oh, they can. Well, okay, they can at least try — here, I’m trying.
And all these attempts would go to waste if not for the daily and hourly help and support of my beloved people, wonderful strangers, and all of you, and of course, someone higher than people. Thank you! I will learn to be more grateful and joyful, and to suffer and complain less. That’s the plan.
I traditionally ask you to transfer a little money to the wonderful funds “Nochlezhka” and “Life Path,” and also to drink to my and Sveta’s health (belatedly, dear!), hug a dog, listen to Vadik Korolev, make love with someone nice, and buy something pleasant. Or sell something unpleasant. Or just sleep, for my health.
Love, kisses, see you.
Old lady Zh. B.
