The First Western District Military Court in St. Petersburg on April 23 found 43-year-old history teacher from the village of Nivshery, Kortkerossky district of Komi, Igor Tyron, guilty of 'justifying terrorism' and 'illegal possession of weapons', reported the publication '7×7'**.
The reason for the charge of illegal possession of weapons is unknown, initially the man was only charged with justifying terrorism for comments in messengers.
Tyron was arrested on December 26, 2024, for comments in which he spoke positively about the Ukrainian special forces brigade 'Azov'. The court sent him to a pre-trial detention center.
