According to the Belgorod channel «Pepel», Russian military personnel, who have been stationed at the recreation center in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka since spring 2023, have destroyed and looted all the premises.
They left behind broken windows and doors, damaged furniture, looted warehouses, and cabins. They took away any intact furniture, household appliances, and tools. Refrigerators, household appliances, an industrial grill, two billiard tables, pool pumps, 160 aluminum radiators, 400 meters of plastic pipes, 200 square meters of carpet, and an inflatable boat were stolen from the recreation center. Additionally, 400 liters of antifreeze were drained from the heating system. The owners of the recreation center documented 37 items of stolen property in various quantities.
From May 2023 to February 2025, various military units were stationed on the recreation center's territory. According to «Pepel», the territory housed military personnel from the PMC «Wagner» and at least two groups of servicemen under the command of officers with the call signs «Ryazan» and «Strazh», who stated they were «ordered» to occupy this base.
As the publication notes, the owners filed reports with the investigative authorities as early as February 10, but the results of the investigation are currently unknown.
