Nine people were killed and six more were injured as a result of a Russian kamikaze drone strike on the city of Marhanets in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported that a kamikaze drone attacked a bus with workers from one of the enterprises heading to work.

Also, due to the Russian attack, an agricultural enterprise caught fire and two men, aged 40 and 48, were injured in the Synelnykove district.

Marhanets is a city, the administrative center of the Marhanets urban community in the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. It is the eighth most populous city in the region, a center for the extraction and processing of manganese ores. The population as of 2023 was 35 thousand residents.

Russia also attacked Poltava with drones, injuring six residents. “At night, the city was attacked by 13 strike UAVs. Some of them were shot down by air defense forces and means. As a result of falling debris and direct hits, there are damages and destructions,” wrote the head of the regional military administration, Volodymyr Kohut. Private and residential houses and several treatment buildings were damaged.

During the drone attack on the Kyiv region, there were no casualties. As a result of the fall of Russian UAV debris, a fire broke out in a hotel and restaurant complex.
