The father of Eskerkhan Khumashev was forcibly taken from Moscow to Chechnya, representatives of the movement Niyso reported. According to them, the man is in extremely serious condition: his arm, leg, and rib bones were broken. Several other relatives of Khumashev were also taken to the republic, and their condition is unknown.
On April 7, 17-year-old Khumashev attacked a DPS post in Achkhoy-Martan with a knife. The young man was killed, and one of the policemen also died. The "Caucasian Knot" reported that the teenager had a conflict with a policeman who had recently returned from the war with Ukraine, which led to the attack.
According to a source from the publication, the conflict between the teenager and the policeman occurred on April 6. "The policeman clearly provoked the boy, humiliated him in the presence of people nearby, called him names. He was intemperate, uttered insulting words. Such behavior of V. was attributed to the fact that he participated in the special military operation, which he joined voluntarily after being dismissed from law enforcement. After returning from Ukraine, he continued to serve in the authorities," said the interlocutor of the "Caucasian Knot"*.
Ramzan Kadyrov stated that the relatives involved in the attack should be expelled from Chechnya and their property confiscated. According to him, the actions of the young man were directed by certain people located in Turkey and a citizen of Ukraine. Chechen authorities detained several relatives of the teenager who were in Chechnya, but later released them.
The body of Eskerkhan Khumashev was displayed at a rally in Achkhoy-Martan, where public sector employees were gathered.
