The "prohibited slogan" was found in a phone conversation, and the court confiscated the phone

The Pechora District Court reviewed an administrative case against Alexander Antonov, a citizen of Russia, the USA, and Ukraine. During a border check at the MAPP "Shumilkino", a comment with the phrase "Glory to Ukraine" was found on his phone, reported "Pskovskaya Guberniya".

The court considered that this slogan was included in the list of Nazi slogans by the Ministry of Justice. The court's decision stated that "the decisive fight against the manifestation of fascism is a major direction of the state policy of the Russian Federation <...>", and a fine from one to two thousand rubles or arrest is provided for the demonstration of Nazi symbols.

As the publication writes, the judge stated that there is an aggravating circumstance in the case: the use of UNRA, UPA, UNS, OUN attributes, which are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation, "may cause suffering to people whose relatives died during the Great Patriotic War". Therefore, the man was sent to arrest for 14 days, and his iPhone 14 pro was confiscated.
