Leonid Volkov himself denies his father's detention, noting that only investigative actions are being conducted so far. According to him, FSB officers came to his parents' home, who are seizing equipment and preparing to take it for investigative actions. «We don't even understand yet if there is a criminal case. It's just known that some judge signed off on the FSB's request for operational search activities yesterday evening, and within these activities, they conducted a search», — said Volkov, noting that there is currently no contact with his parents.
As RusNews writes, law enforcement also has claims against Mikhail Volkov's son Yevgeny. According to police statements, he was involved in protest activities, opposing the «SVO» symbolism at one of the universities in Yekaterinburg.
This is not the first case of persecution of relatives of Alexei Navalny's*** associates.
