A roommate tried to strangle her with a kettle cord, Razumova believes it was orchestrated by FSIN employees

Political prisoner Lyudmila Razumova sent a statement to the prosecutor of the Torzhok district and to the Investigative Committee to initiate a criminal case against her roommate Ksenia Nabatchikova, who attacked her on March 24, reported the human rights project 'First Department'*.

Nabatchikova tried to kill Razumova after a domestic conflict. Razumova splashed water on the detainee in response to her aggressive actions. After that, Nabatchikova attacked the political prisoner, began to beat and strangle her with a kettle cord.

'As a result of her actions, I lost consciousness, and she thought I was dead and stopped strangling me,' Razumova said.

Hospital staff recorded traces of beatings and a mark from strangulation with the cord. The incident was also captured on video. The investigation, which by regulations should be conducted within 10 days, has still not been carried out, and Razumova has not been questioned.

According to Razumova, the fight with Nabatchikova was orchestrated by FSIN employees: Nabatchikova, who was on professional record in the colony, was sent to the hospital for a seemingly contrived reason, specifically assigned to her during the hospital stage, placed in the same ward, and a situation was created where conflict was inevitable.

In March 2023, Razumova was sentenced to seven years in a penal colony for anti-war posts on social networks and inscriptions on the walls of houses in the Tver region, accused of spreading military 'fakes' motivated by political hatred. According to law enforcement, she left anti-war graffiti in villages and settlements of the Tver region and made inscriptions on walls with the words 'Putler kaput', 'Putin is war', and 'Ukraine, forgive us'.
