Lyudmila Razumova was given an additional 14 days in solitary confinement at Tver Colony No. 5 immediately after the end of the previous term, reported the human rights project «OVD-Info»* citing lawyer Eva Levenberg. According to Razumova, she is still not receiving medical assistance, and in solitary confinement, she continues to have low blood pressure and anemia.
«They extended it all the same based on a bunch of fake reports. No one gave me an exemption from work, exercise, despite my poor health those days, but the reports said «Did not work, did not exercise, no, no...» — says Razumova's letter from March 17.
The artist has been in solitary confinement since February 28. The first 14 days of isolation were assigned to her for allegedly «eating a candy from her neighbor's container» according to the colony administration. Before that, the woman was held for three months in a cell-type room (PKT).
The artist's support group believes that the pressure on her is related to her complaints about the conditions of detention and violations in the colony. After being placed in solitary confinement, Razumova declared a dry hunger strike, which she maintained until March 12.
In March 2022, artist Lyudmila Razumova from Konakovo and her husband Alexander Martynov were sent to a pre-trial detention center on charges of spreading military «fakes» motivated by «political hostility» for posts and videos on social media. Later, they were additionally charged with «vandalism» for anti-war graffiti. In March 2023, the court sentenced Razumova to seven years in a general regime colony, and Martynov to six and a half years.
