In the town of Vyazma in the Smolensk region, a 15-year-old teenager was detained on suspicion of setting fire to a patriotic education center, state agencies reported citing law enforcement agencies.

According to the FSB, the detainee committed the arson on an assignment received in a messenger, he was promised 320 thousand rubles. The "Dolgh" center in Vyazma, where a squad for searching missing soldiers of the Great Patriotic War and a museum of their memory is located, was set on fire on the night of March 13. The building's window was smashed with a hammer and a "Molotov cocktail" was thrown inside. The center was not damaged, the fire only "partially damaged the window and windowsill."

The special service released a video in which the teenager talks about the offer to commit another arson, but he refused.

A case for "terrorism" was initiated against him, responsibility under this article starts at 14 years old, the teenager faces up to 20 years in prison.
