The Acting Governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, reported on the strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Dobrynya shopping center in the village of Belaya, Belovsky district, on the evening of March 10. At least three people died, and another nine were injured with varying degrees of severity, including four teenagers aged 13-14. He also promised that all the injured would be transported to the regional clinical hospital with the help of air ambulance services in the near future.
Earlier, the authorities reported the danger of a UAV attack, but in Khinshtein's message, it was not specified what attacked the shopping center.
Local authorities stated last year that most of the population left the village of Belaya during the evacuation in August.
