UPD: The number of victims increased to four, a 43-year-old man died in the hospital. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that just before the strike, volunteers from one of the humanitarian organizations had checked into the hotel — citizens of Ukraine, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
On the evening of March 5, the Russian army launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, damaging civilian infrastructure, with casualties and injuries, the rescue operation, which lasted all night, continues.
A Russian missile hit a five-story hotel, causing a fire. Fourteen people were rescued. Three people died, and 31 others were injured, including a child, reported the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.
In addition to the hotel, 14 apartment buildings, a post office, nearly two dozen cars, a cultural institution, and 12 stores were destroyed.
Rescuers continue to clear the debris.
On the morning of March 6, one person died in Sumy as a result of a drone attack. According to city authorities, a drone hit one of the warehouse premises, causing a fire. A 32-year-old man, who worked there as a security guard, died.
