The terrorist intended to detonate improvised explosive devices in a Jewish religious institution in the Moscow region and at one of the Moscow metro stations», — reported the FSB Public Relations Center. It is claimed that after the attacks he planned to travel to Afghanistan and join the ITO.
The security forces claim that the deceased «pledged allegiance to the banned organization, conducted reconnaissance of the area, and acquired components for an improvised explosive device».
During investigative actions at his residence, firearms, components, chemicals, and damaging elements for assembling explosive devices were found.
