In Kostiantynivka, for the third consecutive day, there were casualties and injuries as a result of the attack. On February 28, a fire broke out in a five-story residential building, one person died, and five were injured. Sixteen multi-story residential buildings, ten private houses, power lines, and gas pipelines were damaged.
In Lyman, due to a drone strike, two men aged 61 and 62 were killed while riding bicycles. In Myrnohrad, a 53-year-old woman was killed as a result of artillery shelling. Additionally, two civilians were injured in Stavky.
During the day, Russian troops shelled the private sector in Kramatorsk, damaging more than 40 houses, one of which was completely destroyed.
In total, the Russian army shelled populated areas of the Donetsk region 39 times in one day. 2,265 people, including 9 children, were evacuated from the front line, local authorities reported.
