On February 27, the Russians attacked Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, one person was killed, and 4 were injured.
The head of the regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported that the Russian army shelled the city with 'Smerch' and 152-mm artillery. A 32-year-old man was killed, local residents aged 48 to 82 were injured.
Five private houses, four apartment buildings, an administrative building, three enterprises, three power lines, a gas pipeline, and a car were damaged.
'Everyone who still remains in the region, especially in the frontline cities, risks their own life and health every day! Be responsible! Evacuate!' added Filashkin.
Later, the prosecutor's office clarified that the Russian troops shelled the private sector of Kostiantynivka with barrel artillery. As a result of the attack, a 32-year-old local resident died in his own home from injuries incompatible with life.
After some time, the Russian troops struck the city two more times, probably with 'Smerch' MLRS, three men aged 48, 62, and 70, and an 82-year-old woman were injured, the condition of one of the injured is assessed by doctors as moderate.
In the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of a drone attack, a 51-year-old man was killed, reported the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak. A woman was also injured as a result of the strike, she is in serious condition in the hospital.
