According to the governor of the Samara region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, the explosion at the entrance to the government occurred at 5:30 in the morning. Presumably, a combat grenade RGD or F-1 exploded, damaging the paving tiles. There are no casualties. "The purpose is still unclear. Intimidate? It won't work," clarified Fedorishchev.
The Telegram channel 112 claims that the grenade was thrown by an elderly man: he drove up to the government building in a car driven by his son. He failed to throw the ammunition all the way to the building, so it exploded at the porch.
The man was detained. During interrogation, he stated his "dissatisfaction with the authorities." A case has been initiated under the article of "terrorism", the resident of Samara faces up to 20 years in prison.
