Utility workers remove flowers, and z-activists threaten those who come

As reported by the correspondent of RusNews, on the day of the third anniversary of the start of the war in Moscow, people bring flowers to the monument of Lesya Ukrainka, but due to the efforts of utility services, they quickly disappear. However, fresh flowers continue to be brought to the monument.

The monument was also visited by a Polish delegation. Diplomats laid flowers with a ribbon in the colors of the Polish flag at the memorial.

There is no police near the memorial today, but they have been replaced by z-activists who harass passersby. For instance, a "patriot" walking in the park near the monument of Lesya Ukrainka picked up flowers laid by concerned people from the memorial and threw them into the trash. The man justified his actions by saying "We don't mourn scoundrels!", reported the correspondent of the publication.

In St. Petersburg, blockade survivor Lyudmila Vasilyeva held a solo picket at Gostiny Dvor, holding a poster saying "People, let's stop the war! We are responsible for peace on planet Earth", writes "Bumaga"*. During the picket, police officers approached her, had a conversation, but did not detain her.

«At first, they wanted me to go with them. But I responded that I wouldn't go without a lawyer. They asked me to leave [Gostiny Dvor]. I already [after an hour] felt sorry for them, as they would get in trouble with their superiors. I told them everything: that they are following criminal orders, that they are also responsible for this war, and that guys are dying. They agreed with me», said Vasilyeva to "Bumaga". According to Vasilyeva, she barely had time to talk to passersby, only one city resident approached the police and said: "Crush her".

Lyudmila Vasilyeva is a long-time participant in St. Petersburg protests and a child of the blockade of Leningrad. She was detained several times in the city center during pacifist rallies in 2022.

In Barnaul, a solo picket was also held, activist Olga went to the monument to the victims of political repressions on Freedom Square with a pacifist poster "Peace to the world!" She was quickly surrounded by two police officers and one, presumably, a plainclothes officer from the "E" center.

In Salekhard, flowers were laid at the monument to the victims of political repressions, leaving a note "February 2025. 1 year. 3 years. 10 years. 24. 02. 2025 Salekhard".
