Ukrainian drones attacked a refinery in the Krasnodar region, two people were injured

Ukrainian drones attacked the village of Ilsky in the Krasnodar region at night, where the Ilsky oil refinery is located, reported Governor Veniamin Kondratyev on his Telegram channel.

According to the official, due to falling debris, 12 private houses were damaged, with "mostly windows broken," and one woman was injured, receiving medical assistance on the spot. Local residents wrote in local channels about explosions near the refinery.

On the evening of February 16, drones attacked Slavyansk-on-Kuban, where the Slavyansky refinery is located. Local authorities reported damage to two private houses there and the hospitalization of a four-year-old girl.

The pumping station near the city of Kropotkin, part of the oil pipeline from Kazakhstan Tengiz — Novorossiysk, was also attacked. The station, part of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), was taken out of operation due to damage from the attack, the company reported, adding that there were no casualties, and an oil spill was prevented. Oil pumping along the route "is operating at reduced modes," "bypassing the damaged PS."

The CPC connects oil fields in Kazakhstan with Russian ones. More than 80% of Kazakhstan's export oil is transported along the Tengiz — Novorossiysk route, which is 1511 kilometers long.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 24 drones were shot down over Kuban during the night, and another 38 drones and a missile were intercepted on approach to the region over the Azov Sea.
