Sentenced to 13 years in a colony for killing a girl, Dmitry Zobnin was released early due to his participation in the war and beat a 16-year-old teenager in St. Petersburg. This was reported by «Fontanka».
According to «Fontanka», on February 6, 27-year-old Dmitry Zobnin, in a state of alcoholic intoxication, boarded a bus where he began to insult passengers and harass underage girls. A classmate tried to stand up for them, whom Zobnin threw out of the bus and brutally beat. At the same time, the former Wagner member threatened to kill, and the schoolboy was saved by a bystander who used a pepper spray against the troublemaker. The injured teenager was hospitalized with fractures and injuries.
During interrogation, the detainee stated that he hardly remembered his actions, as he had been concussed in the «SVO». On December 5, 2020, Zobnin killed his girlfriend out of jealousy. According to the investigation, the victim tried to escape through a window, but the attacker caught up with her on the street, dragged her into a bathroom, and then inflicted no less than 85 stab wounds on the girl. The Pushkin Court of St. Petersburg in December 2021 sentenced Dmitry Zobnin to 13 years in a high-security colony, but a few months after the war began, he signed a contract with the PMC «Wagner» and went to fight in Ukraine, receiving a pardon and being released after six months.
