According to law enforcement, the women were preparing terrorist attacks against high-ranking Russian military officials and sabotage at energy facilities

FSB officers detained four women in Rostov-on-Don, Voronezh, and Sevastopol, who are called 'agents' of Ukrainian special services, recruited for terrorist attacks against high-ranking Russian military officials and sabotage at energy facilities, as reported on the official website of the agency.

The special service believes that the women underwent 'training in handling firearms, explosive ordnance, UAV control, as well as methods of detecting surveillance' in Ukraine.

During searches at their residences, a 'significant amount of explosives, chemical precursors for synthesizing explosives, electric detonators, instructions for making IEDs, as well as means of communication with Ukrainian handlers' were seized.

Criminal cases were initiated against the detainees 'on signs of crimes of a terrorist nature', without specifying the articles. It is noted that the detainees confessed, and they were sent to a pre-trial detention center.

In the published video, one of the detained women says that on the assignment of Ukrainian special services, she collected information about the residences and cars of 'senior officials of the Ministry of Defense, high-ranking officials and their families', while another repeats phrases from the FSB press release, claiming she is an 'agent of Ukrainian intelligence'. One of the detainees stated on camera that she received a thousand dollars as an advance for committing crimes.
