According to the Investigative Committee, a 23-year-old participant in the war in Ukraine killed an 87-year-old pensioner early in the morning on January 30. Her body, showing signs of violent death, was found in a park. The detainee admitted guilt and stated that he had no motive and attacked the woman for no reason, then beat her with his hands and feet until she died.
As relatives of the deceased told «Caution, news», the elderly woman went for a walk, where she was seen and caught up by 23-year-old Rustam N., who beat her for 20 minutes until the pensioner died, and then left.
«At home, his mother asked him what happened — he wasn't answering his phone, and his clothes were covered in blood. He replied that the phone was off. Then he realized he had lost it. He changed clothes and went to look along the same route, where he was detained based on descriptions», — one of them said.
The family of the murdered woman also reported that the criminal's father works in the Federal Penitentiary Service, and after the incident, he submitted a resignation report. The murderer himself had recently returned from the war in Ukraine due to an injury. A few hours before the crime, he consumed mephedrone along with alcohol.
In the fall, «Verstka»* calculated that over 2.5 years, participants in the war with Ukraine killed at least 242 people and injured more than 227 people in 80 regions of Russia.
