New contract soldiers who signed up for military service in the Samara region are sent to assault units, which is associated with a record one-time payment of 4 million rubles, established by local authorities, discovered «Verstka».
Two recruiters told the publication about sending recruits to assault units. According to one of them, new contract soldiers from Samara are sent in different directions, but «to assault». At the same time, there are many volunteers, «everyone from Moscow went to Samara», according to recruiters, all dormitories in the city are occupied.
Increased payments in the Samara region are received not only by contract soldiers but also by recruiters — the regional authorities will allocate 97 million from the governor's reserve fund for salaries to those involved in the recruitment campaign for military service in 2024.
As one of the servicemen told journalists, the training duration for Samara contract soldiers — only two days. «My guys left recently, from a combat mission out of 50 people, two returned to the dugout», — he said.
The record one-time payment of 4 million rubles (3.6 million of which is paid from the regional budget, 400 thousand — from the Ministry of Defense) to residents of the Samara region who signed a contract, was introduced by the authorities from January 1, 2025. As noted by the regional government, in the first year of service, it will be possible to earn 7 million rubles.
