The Krasnoyarsk Regional Court found the 17-year-old resident of the region guilty of «attempted sabotage by a group of persons», reported the press service of the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.

According to the prosecution, in March 2024, the young man, together with another teenager, attempted to hack relay and battery cabinets between the «Achinsk-1» and «Tarutino» stations of the Krasnoyarsk railway in the Achinsk district of the region. The investigation claims they attempted to commit sabotage «on the instructions of another person on the Internet» for a monetary reward of 15 thousand rubles.

The teenagers were detained at the scene.

The older suspect, who turned 17 years old, was sentenced to four years in a juvenile correctional facility, while the younger one had not reached the age of criminal responsibility at the time of detention.
